Sorghum harvest taking place in Kleberg County

During the last few weeks milo is being harvested throughout Kleberg County. 

The rust-colored seed heads offer a contrast to the usual greenish-brown South Texas landscape. Milo, or more properly known as Sorghum, is a grain used for various types of animal feeds and may also be used in cereals.
