Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy’s varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams host Agua Dulce at 4:30 p.m. this Friday.
H.M. King’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman volleyball teams visit Tuloso- Midway at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Bishop’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman volleyball teams visit Santa Rosa at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Riviera-Kaufer’s junior varsity football team visits Benavides at 7:30 p.m. De la Paz Middle School travels to play Benavides at 5 p.m.
Bishop’s junior varsity football team hosts Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy at 7:30 p.m. Luehrs Junior High’s seventh and eighth grade football teams travel to play Ricardo at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
H.M. King’s junior varsity and freshman football teams have a bye this week.
Cross Country this
Saturday
Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy’s cross country team is scheduled to run at the UTSA Invitational at Brooks City Base.
Riviera-Kaufer’s cross country team will compete at the UTSA Romo Classic at 7 a.m.
Brahma cross country
H.M. King’s Rosario Gonzalez won a medal by finishing in second place (with a time of 15:30) in the freshman girls race at a cross country meet in Falfurrias this past Saturday.
Kelly Ryan (49) finished the varsity girls race with a time of 14:42. Running in the junior varsity girls race were Kaylie Hahn (15:29, 20), Niki Tijerina (16:13, 35), Lauren Bunch (16:15, 36) and Sonora Cantu (18:10, 64). Gabby Cortez (17) finished the junior high girls race with a time of 13:03.
Competing in the varsity boys race were Andrew Rivas (18:19, 40), Bryan Garcia (21:12, 81) and Matthew Garza (21:52, 87). Joel Cortez (23:18, 88) and Patrick Lopez (25:20, 108) ran in the junior varsity boys race.
