Rose Alexander Rose Alexander, 80, of Kingsville, died Sept. 19, 2009.

She was born June 23, 1929, in Port Lavaca.

Alexander was a member of the King Star Baptist Church.

She was employed for 22 years with Kingsville Independent School District where she served as supervisor over the Flato Central Kitchen.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla (Anthony) Cornell of Kingsville; three grandsons; four greatgrandchildren; sister, Sallie (Charles) Brazzell of Alice; and brother, Calvin Rhodes of Edna.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 25 at King Star Baptist Church in Kingsville.

Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville.
