Marcos R. Gonzalez Sr. Marcos R. Gonzalez Sr., 79, of Kingsville, died Sept. 24, 2009 in Kingsville.

Gonzalez was born on April 25, 1930, in Kingsville to Martin and Petra Gonzalez.

He was a retired maintenance worker with the City of Kingsville.

Survivors include three sons, Marcos Gonzalez Jr., Gabriel (Imelda) Gonzalez, and Paulino Martinez, all of Kingsville; seven daughters, Petra (Rex) McMinn, Bonnie Gonzalez, Linda Gonzalez, Alicia De La Rosa, Norma Hinojosa, and Maria Hernandez, all of Kingsville, and Guadalupe (Juan) Gonzalez of Houston; three brothers, Arnulfo (Ester) Gonzalez, and Armando Gonzalez, both of Houston, and Ambrioso (Elida) Gonzalez of Kingsville; two sisters, Maria Jesusa (Carlos) Salinas of Kingsville and Maria Felicita Erebria of Corpus Christi; 29 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9 a m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 27 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p m. Sept. 27 at Ramirez- Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be held Sept. 28 at St. Martins Catholic Church in Kingsville.

Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery in Kingsville.
