She was preceded in death by her husband Amado Sanchez Jr.

She is survived by 7 daughters and 6 sons: Linda Kahn of Houston, Tx; Diana (Lupe) Hernandez of Kingsville, TX; Amado (Mari) Sanchez III of Houston, Tx; Lucila (Daniel) Garcia of Mathis, Tx; Yolanda (Aaron) Ruiz of West Columbia, TX; Arnold (Esperanza) Sanchez of Kingsville, Tx; Pico (Cindy) Sanchez of Kingsville, Tx; Cynthia (Robert) Castro of Kingsville, Tx; Sylvia (Rick) Medina of Kingsville, Tx’ Norma Orozco of Fountain, Colorado; Bobby Sanchez of Houston, Tx, Michael (Dora) Sanchez of Houston, Tx; Andy Sanchez of Kingsville, Tx, 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday October 6, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at Ramirez- Salinas Funeral Home on Tuesday October 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Isidoro Garcia O.M.I. officiating.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez- Salinas Funeral Home.
