School district wants to hear from citizens
The Kingsville Independent School District, in an effort to inform parents, students, staff members, business members, and the community at large of the district’s progress and vision for the future, will host its first Town Talk community meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the H.M. King High School auditorium.
Emilio Castro, superintendent of schools, will join Roel Gonzalez, principal of King High School, for a special presentation that encourages community members to ask questions and provide feedback on potential opportunities for improvement.
“I am excited for the opportunity to dialogue with the community in the Town Talk sessions in order to gather input as we plan our roadmap for excellence,” Castro said.
“We would like to see everyone turn out for our first meeting and let us know how we can better serve you and our students,” he said.
