Rudolph V. Pedraza, 74, of Kingsville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 in Kingsville.

Pedraza was born on Aug. 28, 1935, in Victoria to Augustine and Lucia Pedraza.

He was formerly a United States Post office carrier, United States Army Veteran, and a former member of Austin Corner Stone Church.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Villarreal Pedraza of Kingsville; three sons, Michael Pedraza of Freer, John Pedraza and Joseph Pedraza, both of Austin; three daughters, Sara (Manuel) Balli and Judy Pedraza, both of Victoria, and Evelyn Pedraza of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Maria Gonzalez of Port Lavaca and Guadalupe McGee of Victoria; seven grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Grace Funeral Home in Victoria.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
