Second Annual Service Club Challenge underway
For the second year in a row, local Toys for Tots Coordinators are issuing a challenge to all local service clubs to see which organization can out do the others by raising the most toys for the local campaign.
The challenge is open to all service clubs.
“We hope the various departments of the Women’s Club of Kingsville, the Elks, the VFW, local scouting organizations, and others will join with the Kingsville Noon Lions and Rotary Clubs in accepting the challenge,” Lisa Bockholt, local Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinator said.
Last year the Lions Club edged out the Rotary Club in what turned out to be some good old fashioned competitive fun, all for a good cause.
The winning service club will receive a hand made custom “I think I can” Toys for Tots Traveling Trophy to proudly keep and display throughout the year.
