The Kingsville Elks Lodge is completing preparations for it annual Salute to Our Veterans Chili Cook-Off, which will be held at the Kingsville Elks Lodge, Sixth and Miller, on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The event is expected to attract teams from Kingsville citizens, businesses, military, veterans and area communities.

Cooking will commence at 10 a.m. with awards being presented for best chili and showmanship at 3 p.m.

Judging will be by a team of local dignitaries. There will be live music and a host of activities for the young and old. Admission to the event will be free. The entry fee for Chili Teams is $25 with all proceeds going to the Elks Charitable Programs.
