Dr. Jack L. Bradshaw

Dr. Jack L. Bradshaw Dr. Jack L. Bradshaw Dr. Jack L. Bradshaw, 81, of Kingsville, died Nov. 6, 2009, in Kingsville.

He was born May 21, 1928, in McCook, Neb., to E. L. Bradshaw and Mabel Lindholm Bradshaw.

Bradshaw graduated with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska in Kearney, Neb.

He earned a master of arts degree from the University of Omaha, Neb., and a doctorate of education from the University of Missouri in Columbus, Mo., in 1971.

He was a professor of education at Texas A&I University, Kingsville, until his retirement.

Bradshaw, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, was a member of St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church.

Suvivors include his wife of 53 years, Lois A. Bradshaw of Kingsville; three daughter, Michelle (Kevin) Wherry of Granite Bay, Calif., Monica (Glenn) Johnson of Katy, and Laura (Mark) Butschi of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Nov. 27 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church with Fr. Piotr Koziel as celebrant.

Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville was in charge of the arrangements.
