Raid nets four arrests
The Kingsville Police Department apprehended four individuals Monday night when the Kingsville Specialized Crime and Narcotics Task Force raided a home located on West Alice street. David Reyes, 21, Marisa Hernandez, 29, and Jessica Salazar, 20, and Daniel Guajardo, 23 were arrested in the home belonging to Guajardo.
Officers recovered 27 small bags of cocaine, marijuana, $100 in cash, and a pistol. According to Sgt. Bradley Lile, Guajardo was arrested and charged with a 2nd degree felony of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1, 4-200 grams.
Reyes and Salazar were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, and had both had previous city warrants.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
Authorities called the situation a street-level operation and acted upon the large concern from near by neighbors and residents who called in and complained of a lot of traffic around the home. All suspects were booked into the Kleberg County Jail Monday night.
