Roy L Henry Jr. Roy L Henry, Jr., age 66 of Schertz, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Kerrville. He was born September 27, 1943 in Pearsall, TX to Roy L and Inez Lurline (Henrichson) Henry.

Roy graduated from Schreiner Institute and received his Masters degree in Animal Nutrition from Texas Tech. He started his career with Santa Gertrudis Breeders International and continued his career with La Paloma Ranch as a ranch manager. He finished his working career in the oilfield and transportation industries.

Survivors include wife, Debra Seiler Arriaga of Schertz, TX; daughters, Misty D’Amico of Kerrville, TX, Sarah Anne Deterling of Manvel, TX and Mary Arriaga of Schertz, TX; sons, Roy Lee Henry of Hooker, OK, Billy Doc Henry of Georgetown, TX, and Shad Lee Henry of Schertz, TX; sisters, Lori Henry and Kathy Ault of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Harold Lee Henry and Dana Charles Henry of Hebbronville, TX and John David Henry of Bandera, TX; grandchildren, Daniel Molina, Roy Lane Henry, Clayton Henry, Samuel D’Amico, Christopher Leos, Amnesty Leos and Justin Turner. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Bianca Leos.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2009, 2 PM in the Pearsall City Cemetery, Pearsall, TX officiated by Ken Carnathan.

Memorials may be made to Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, American Cancer Society or Schreiner University.

Roy was born with boots, could rope before he could read, and will stay in our hearts as a true South Texas cowboy.
