Ramon R. Rodriguez seeks office
Ramon R. Rodriguez
Ramon R. Rodriguez has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 in the March 2010 primary.
Rodriguez was the Municipal Judge for the City of Driscoll from 2005-2009.
Currently, he is the Public Works Supervisor for the City of Driscoll.
“I feel that I am the right candidate because I have the experience and knowledge needed to be your next judge,” he said. “I have 76 hours of training as a judge and I have made the hard and tough decisions in court.”
Rodgriguez’s goals for Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 are to make sure that officials are held accountable for their actions, and he wants to keep the community safe and to use his experience as a judge to make the Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 office better.
“If elected your Judge, I will be fair, honest and impartial. I will work hard every day. In my experiences as a judge, you need to be in the office full time so that you can hear and deal with daily problems that may arise during the day from the citizens and the community. Not everyone can be a judge, it takes the right person who will listen to the citizens and make the right decision and know that the decision made is fair and impartial,” Rodriguez said.
He stated, “I have served the community of Driscoll for the last 7 years and now I feel it is time for me to start serving the citizens and community of Kleberg County and the City of Kingsville.”
A 1989 graduate from H.M. King High. Rodriguez attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville and earned a degree in political science with a minor in business administration. He is the son of Raymond A. Rodriguez and Yolanda M. Rodriguez.
