Veterans Day parade best ever in Kingsville
As a veteran of this community it gives me great pleasure to have witnessed the largest and most attended parade in recent years.
This could not have been possible without the assistance of Tomas Sanchez, the VFW, DAV, Last Patrol and the American Legion, but most importantly the community who came out in trucks, walking, cars, trains and KISD children, staff, central office personnel and school board members, law enforcement, fire department and community businesses.
Special thanks go out to the Texas A&M University-Kingsville, H.M. King High School bands and A&M-Kingsville Reserve Officer Training Corps.
The support and collaboration of this community demonstrated to the Veterans that we are not forgotten and that the community is grateful.
I truly hope that this community continues to come together to celebrate the significant sacrifices that the veterans have made to this nation and that this parade continues to be bigger and better each and every year.
Respectfully, Commander John Edward
