The Kingsville Fire Department and Kingsville Police Department are currently investigating a possible arson in connection to a warehouse fire Sunday night.

The Kingsville Fire Department responded to a call Sunday night at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Kenedy. The fire was in a large two story storage warehouse located behind a trailer park.

Witness reports claim that four juveniles were seen running away from the building before the fire which prompted the Kingsville Police Department to look into a arson investigation.

According to officials, the fire took about an hour to be contained with the second story of the warehouse collapsing within 10 minutes of the firefighters arrival. Firefighters from Kleberg County, Naval Air Station Kingsville, and Bishop were called in to assist.

No one was injured in the fire and no other structures around the area were damaged.
