Soila Guajardo Soila Guajardo, 84, of Bishop, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.

Guajardo was born in Victoria, on Aug. 5, 1925, to Gregorio and Santiaga Guajardo. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Bishop. She was involved in the Bishop Community Club.

Survivors by her children, Olga (Manuel) Gonzalez of Bishop, Hector (Esther) Guajardo of Lake Station, Ind., Ignacio (Olga) Guajardo, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Diana (Oscar) Gonzalez of Bishop, Ernest Guajardo of Bishop, Rudy (Ruby) Guajardo of Bishop, and Patricia (Erasmo) Reyes of Victoria; her brother, Santiago Guajardo of Dallas; her sister, Aurora Guajardo of Bishop; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Dec. 14 with a rosary recited at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.

A funeral Mass was held Dec. 15 at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop.

Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
