ADOPTED FAMILY — TXU Energy presented Mrs. Shea Martinez and her family with gifts for the holiday season Monday. Martinez, who has been diagnosed with cancer, and her family were selected by Kleberg County Human Services officials to be adopted by TXU Energy. This is the second year where TXU Energy has adopted a family in Kingsville for Christmas and the Martinez’s are their sixth family in Texas so far this year.
