Manuela A. Ramirez Manuela A. Ramirez, 77, of Kingsville died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 in Corpus Christi.

She was born on March 8, 1932 in Kingsville to Luis Alaniz and Maria Acuna Alaniz. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Nieves G. Ramirez of Kingsville; three daughters, Yolanda (Jose Luis) Hernandez and Rosalinda (Robert L.) Rodriguez, both of Kingsville, and Maria Smith of Gainesville; three sons, Roberto Ramirez of Wichita, Kansas, Jose A. Ramirez of Kingsville and Baldemar (Odilia) Ramirez of Dayton; two sisters, Maria Luisa (Julian) Polanco and Esmeralda “Melly” Alaniz, both of Kingsville; 16

ƒƒ grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Rosary was recited Dec. 29 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
