Visel-Aldrich vows recited
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cassidy Visel
Sarah Elizabeth Aldrich and Daniel Cassidy Visel of San Antonio, formerly of Kingsville, were united in marriage on July 4, 2009 at the Southwest School of Art and Craft is San Antonio. The Reverend Nils Smith officiated the outdoor ceremony. Music for the ceremony was provided by Shaneve Swift and Karizza Cruz. Following the ceremony, family and friends enjoyed a cocktail hour in the courtyard. Guests were then escorted indoors for a dinner reception and dance, which took place in the historic Ursiline Chapel. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Mickey and the Motorcars.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Jennifer Aldrich of Kingsville. The groom is the son of Debra Wiel of Corpus Christi and Paul Visel of Miami, Florida. Grandparents of the bride are James Arnold of Alice and the late Grace Whelan Arnold, and W.W. (Jim) and Barbara Aldrich of Kingsville. Grandparents of the groom are Viola Brown Dyer of Sinton, and the late Homer Alston brown, and Mildred Visel of Premont and the Late Cliff Visel.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown of matte satin. The strapless gown was adorned with wide metallic embroidery, rhinestones and crystal beading along the waist, and above the chapel length flare train. She wore a veil of ivory tulle.
The bride’s best man was her brother, Scott Aldrich of Kingsville. Bridesmaids were Holly Baker of New York City, Holly Kvapil of Houston, Vanessa Garza McAllister of Boston, MA, Melissa Ruud McGuire of Argyle, Randi Baake Rhone of Birmingham, AL, Emily Nelson Spivey of Rockwall, Victoria Webb Visel of Winston-Salem, NC, and Connie Grimes Womack of Kingsville.
Nicolas Visel of Winston-Salem, NC served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Angoff of Narragansett, RI, Clint Brown of Houston, cousin of the groom; Charles Brown of Conroe, cousin of the groom; Stuart Brown of Greenwich, CT, Lyon Carter III of New York City, Adam Crocket of Pflugerville, Ryan Cunningham of New York City, Russell DesCognets of Lexington, KY, David Light of Laredo, Bryan Lyster of Versailles, KY, and John Patrick O’Reilly of Boston, MA.
Sarah is a graduate of H.M. King High School in Kingsville. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos with a B.H.A. in Health Care Administration. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and a SWTSU Strutter. Sarah received her M.D.E. in Secondary Education from Texas State University in San Marcos. Daniel graduated from Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a degree in Liberal Arts. He was a member of Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity.
The couple resides in San Antonio. Sarah is the dance director at Clark High School. Daniel is employed by USC Consulting Group.
