Valentin A. Perez Valentin A. Perez, 46, of Kingsville, died Jan. 2, 2010, in Kingsville.

He was born Feb. 14, 1963, in Mathis.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Martha A. Perez of Kingsville; three daughters, Clarrisa A. Perez, Lorena A. Perez, Rosario Soliz, all of Kingsville; one son, Tony (Alisha) Perez of La Grange; one brother, Santiago Gonzalez of Robstown; five sisters, Julie (Steven) Ostwald of Houston, Dolores (Felipe) Marquez, Sarita Gonzalez, June (Gregorio) Gonzalez, all of Robstown, and Debbie Gonzalez of Corpus Christi; parents, Jesus and Lucia Perez Hernandez of Robstown; grandmother, Anita Gonzalez of Banquete; numerous aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Jan. 5 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville with a rosary recited that same evening.

A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Jan. 6 at St. Martins Catholic Church with the Rev. Isidoro Garcia OMI officiating.

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
