The first baby born in Kleberg County in 2010 was a girl, Nayeli Ontiveros, who arrived at 8:35 p.m. Jan. 4, 2010, at Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg. The proud parents are Norberto and Christina Ontiveros of Kingsville. Baby Nayeli weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Dr. Martin Boyd performed the delivery. Maternal grandparents are Manuel and Gloria Alvarez and paternal grandparents are Norberto and Griselta Ontiveros. Baby Nayeli joins one sister, Natalie. A gift basket was given to the family from the hospital.
