Jon Paul Escobar Bishop senior Jon Paul Escobar was recently selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Football Team.

“This is a tremendous honor and with the culmination of four years of dedication to not only sports, but in the classroom,” Bishop Athletic Director Larry Vincent said.

Escobar has competed in football, power lifting, baseball and track.

“With all that J.P. is involved in, it takes a great amount of personal discipline to maintain his standing in the classroom. We are all proud of J.P. and want to congratulate him and his family for this great honor,” Vincent said.
