LADY BRAHMAS SOCCER
SOCCER
H.M. King High School’s varsity girls soccer team (2-3-1) defeated Corpus Christi Ray 3-1 this past Friday. Kelly Ryan scored two goals - one assisted by Mary Yeary - and Rebecca Campos scored one.
The Lady Brahma junior varsity girls soccer team finished third at a tournament hosted by Corpus Christi Independent School District this past weekend. The girls defeated C.C. Miller and Flour Bluff, lost to C.C. Carroll and bested C.C. Ray in the consolation bracket. Brittany Mohr and Amanda Cavazos were the standout players for H.M. King.
The Lady Brahma varsity and junior varsity soccer teams host Hidalgo Legacy at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday.
BRAHMA SOCCER
Kingsville Independent School District’s athletic department will host a boys soccer alumni game at 6 p.m. at MOPAC on February 2. Tickets are $1 for students and $2 for adults. For more information call 592-6401 ext. 58.

H.M. King High School’s varsity and junior varsity boys basketball teams host Tuloso-Midway at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Lady Brahma varsity and junior varsity girls basketball teams host Tuloso-Midway at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday.
Memorial’s 7A, 7B, 8A and 8B girls basketball teams visit Alice at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday; January 28.
BADGER BASKETBALL
Bishop High School’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman boys basketball teams host San Diego at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Lady Badger varsity and junior varsity basketball teams visit San Diego at 5 p.m. on Friday.
TENNIS
H.M. King High School’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman tennis teams will host a dual meet against Calallen at 4 p.m. on Thursday; January 28.
PRIDE BASKETBALL
Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy High School’s varsity and junior varsity boys basketball teams visit la Villa at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The Lady Pride varsity and junior varsity basketball teams visit La Villa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
SEAHAWK BASKETBALL
Riviera-Kaufer High School’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman boys basketball teams visit Donna Idea Academy at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The Lady Seahawk varsity and junior varsity girls basketball teams host Donna Idea Academy at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
De la Paz Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams visit Ricardo at 5 p.m. on Thursday; January 28. Both teams compete at the District 32-2A tournament which will be held at Kaufer on Saturday.
