Tons of trash have been collected for the past week aspart of a community-wide clean-up campaign in celebration of Kingsville Shine Week.City workers, county workers and volunteers fanned the city in search of debris,brush and discarded furniture and appliances, which were taken to a dumpsite atthe Kingsville Police Department. The clean-up campaign ended Saturday with thequarterly ‘Trash Off’ Day. Citizens were able to get rid of unwanted items such asbrush, furniture, and appliances. Kingsville Shine Week was sponsored by the City ofKingsville and the Chamber of Commerce.
