Hipolito H. Garza Hipolito H. Garza Hipolito H. Garza, 86, of Kingsville, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, in Kingsville.

Garza was born on Nov. 8, 1923, in Kingsville to Manuel and Paula Garza.

He was a retired sheet metal worker with Corpus Christi Army Depot, a former Robstown ISD Industrial Technology Teacher, a decorated World War II Army Air Corps veteran, Order of the Purple Heart Organization, Knights of Columbus Counsel No. 2623 4th Degree, DAV, VFW Lodge 2375, and Former CWV.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Emma S. Garza; three daughters, Edna G. (Ben) Figueroa of Kingsville, Yvonne G. (Donald) Aguilar of Lawton, Okla., and Annette G. (Mike) Villarreal of Corpus Christi; three sons, Hipolito (Gloria) Garza of Kingsville, Armando Garza of San Antonio and Robert Garza of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Nazarita (Leonel) Canales of Monroe, La.; one brother, Regulo (Delia) Garza of Corpus Christi; 20 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at St. Martins Catholic Church with the Rev. Romeo Salinas O.M.I. officiating.

Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
