A benefit car and truck show with proceeds going to Court Appointed Special Advocates will be hosted by the Kingsville Auto Club on March 6.

The Texas Independence Day Show and Shine event will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in historic downtown Kingsville by the Kingsville Railroad Depot Museum parking lot near South Street and Kleberg Avenue. There is a $20 entry fee, and entrants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag.

Plaques will be awarded to winning entries. If there is rain on the scheduled day of the Show and Shine event, it will be held on March 13.
