Former Kingsville resident, Ernest “Ford” Brauchle, 89, of Belton, died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Regency Manor in Temple.

Brauchle was born on Nov. 2, 1921, in Floresville to William Louis and Daisy Dell (Womack) Brauchle.

He attended school in Floresville and later moved to Kingsville where he worked as a service station attendant for Exxon.

He attended University Baptist Church in Kingsville.

Later he retired to Belton where he was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at First Baptist Church in Belton with the Rev. Mike Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
