IHOP Raises Mone y for Shriner ’s Chil dren ’s Hospitals — The IHOP in Kingsville served free pancakes to its patrons from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 as part of a nationwide collaboration between IHOP restaurants and the Shrine of North America. Free pancakes were served and customers were asked to support the Shriner’s Burn and Orthopedic Hospitals with a monetary contribution. Gus Gonzalez, manager of Kingsville’s IHOP together with members of Al Amin Shrine, Chamberlain Masonic Lodge No. 913, and Kingsville Chapter No. 325 of the Order of the Eastern Star helped raise a total of $890 for the cause. Gonzalez and the members of Al Amin Shrine would like to thank all who contributed toward the hospitals where care is provided for the children at no cost.
