Carol Sue Moreno Carol Sue Moreno, 52, of Victoria, died Feb. 28, 2010, in Victoria.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1958, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to John V. Marody Sr. and Delia Benavidez.

Moreno was employed as a public school teacher for the Victoria Independent School District until her retirement.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Vicente Moreno of Victoria; son, Jonathan Villarreal of Victoria; daughter, Alyssa Villarreal of Victoria; mother and step-father, Delia Benavides Arriaga and Maximo Arriaga of Kingsville; three brothers, John V. (Tina) Marody Jr. of LaPorte, Carl J. Marody of Kingsville and Kenneth M. (Cindy) Marody of Victoria.

Visitation will take place at 2 p.m. March 3 at the Turcotte- Piper Mortuary Chapel in Kingsville.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. March 3 at the Turcotte- Piper Mortuary Chapel.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 4 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Kingsville.

Burial will follow at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery in Kingsville.
