Juan C. Perales Jr. Juan C. Perales Jr., 55, of Kingsville, died on Feb. 25, 2010, in Kingsville.

Perales was born on May 9, 1954, in Santa Rosa to Juan and Ricarda Perales.

He was a carpenter and formally employed with A&R Builders Mart.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Benilde R. Perales of Kingsville; two sons, Jesse (Rachel) Mendietta and Billy Mendietta, both of Irving; two daughters, Rosario M. Scott of Mississippi and Sandra (J.R.) DeLeon of Kingsville; five brothers, Jusano Perales, Ricardo Perales, both of Houston, Cruz Perales of Corpus Christi, Orlando Perales of Harlingen and Alvino Chacon of Kingsville; six sisters, Francis Garcia, Mary Suarez, Evangelina Cantu, Mary Criado, Bobbie Campbell, Velma Cano, all of Kingsville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A rosary was recited Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral service was held March 1 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Torres O.M.I. officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
