Lorenza O. Flores, 85, of Bishop, died Feb. 26, 2010, in Kingsville.

Flores was born on Sept. 5, 1924, in Kenedy to Miguel and Angelita Flores.

She was a retired housewife.

Survivors include two daughters, Maria Rita Rendon of Houston and Oralia (Arturo) Rojas of Bishop; one son, Jerry (Wendy) Gomez of Houston; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Gomez of Houston; four brothers, Lupe Ortega of Bishop, Jesus (Viola) Ortega of Kingsville, Ramon Ortega and Vicente (Yolanda) Ortega, all of Kingsville; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A rosary was recited Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral service was held March 1 at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Koziel officiating.

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
