The Kingsville Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to indentify this man, who sprayed an unknown substance in the victims eyes, stole a deposit bag, then ran northbound from the bank at 6:47 p m. March 17. The Kingsville Police Department is seeking the assistance from the public in identifying a man who robbed a motorist about to make a bank deposit Wednesday evening.

At 6:47 p.m., an employee of a Kingsville business pulled into the Wells Fargo parking lot at 601 S. 14th to make a deposit.

A man approached the victim’s vehicle and sprayed an unknown substance into the eyes of the victim.

The robber reached into the vehicle, taking the deposit bag, then running north.

The bag contained an undisclosed amount of money and checks in the deposit bag.

The victim suffered some minor burns on his skin and eyes and was not able to give any description of the robber.

KPD is asking the public to view the photos in an attempt to identify the unknown male.
