Verna M. Hopstetter Verna M. Hopstetter, 73, of San Antonio, died Sunday, March 21, 2010.

She was born April 2, 1936, in Bishop.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Edward R. Hopstetter of San Antonio; daughters, Susan (Gilbert) Cuellar and Julie Escalera, both of San Antonio; sister, Dolores Barnett of Bishop; brother, Odis (Janis) Michalk of Kingsville; four grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held March 23 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held at 9 a.m. March 24 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
