Robert Charles Belt, 71, of Kingsville, died March 24, 2010.

He was born on March 15, 1939, in State Center, Iowa to Charles Belt and Viola Mae Kutzner.

Belt was a member of the St. Gertrude Catholic Church.

He retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Rose M. Belt of Kingsville; daughter, Barbara Kay Laderdale of Florida; step-son, Micahel Lee Garcia of Kingsville and step-daughter, Michelle Marie Hidler (Sam) of Buda; his sister, Bonnie Johnson of Minnesota.

Visitation was held March 25 at the Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a rosary recited that same evening.

A funeral Mass was celebrated March 26 at the St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church.

Services will conclude at the church.
