Betty Rule Betty Rule, 70, died March 23, 2010, in Corpus Christi.

She was born Aug. 25, 1939, to Herbert and Willie Hunter, in Bay City.

Survivors include her daughters, Lola Simmons of Vernal, Utah and Deborah Guy of Riviera; two brothers, Norris (Roseann) Hunter of Llano, and Aurther Allgood of Riviera; two sisters, Faye Schoenberger of Riviera, and Mattie Hunter of Matagorda; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a m. to 1 p m. April 2 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.

A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Riviera Cemetery with Rodney Light officiating.
