Dora Jungmann, 91, a longtime resident of Bishop, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Kingsville.

She was born on Nov. 9, 1918 in Burlington, to John Stoebner and Martha Fricke Stoebner. A homemaker, she was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop for 65 years.

She is survived by two sons, Monroe (Charlotte) Jungmann of Rockdale and Edward (Jane) Jungmann of Bishop; three daughters, Bernice (John) Powers of Bishop, Sandra (John) Gravell of Corpus Christi, and Nancy (Ted) Bolzle of El Paso; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was April 6 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel in Kingsville.

A prayer service was held April 6 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop with the Rev. Melvin Antonio officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop at Restland Cemetery.
