LOCAL GIRLS WIN TOURNAMENT
The Kingsville Vipers (a fast pitch softball
team consisting of players ages 10 and under) won the Rio Grande Valley Spring
Break Bash tournament in Pharr on March 28. The Vipers amassed 20 runs total
during the tournament, five in the championship game. Pitching duo Saidi Castillo
and Jackie de los Santos gave up only one run during the entire tournament and recorded
three shutouts including the title game. Pictured in the front row (left to right)
