Bish op Prima ry Celeb rates Dr. Seuss ’ Birthda y al ong wi th Read Across Ame rica — Bishop Primary celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday during the month of March with various activities. Celebrity readers were invited to come and read to the students. Students wore their hand made ‘Cat in the Hat’ hats for the various activities. Kindergarten students listened attentively as Principal Debra Gonzalez, right, reads ‘The Cat in The Hat Comes Back’ and ‘Green Eggs and Ham.’ As a culminating activity, teachers and students cooked and were treated to green eggs and ham. These activities integrated science, math, and language arts. Other celebrity readers for the day were Gina Garcia and Gary Eulenfeld among others.
