Testimony continues Wednesday in 105th District Court at the trial of Kleberg County Precinct 4 Commissioner Romeo Lomas.

The first of many witnesses to testify Monday included Mayor Sam Fugate, Kleberg County Judge Pete De La Garza and Precinct 2 Commissioner Norma Alvarez. Lomas was indicted for official misconduct, a misdemeanor. A six-member jury panel is hearing the abuse of official capacity case.

Lomas testified on Tuesday and some witnesses were expected to be back on the stand Wednesday. Complete details will be in the weekend edition.
