The 11th Annual Kleberg-Bishop American Cancer Society Relay For Life is Friday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday at Texas A&M University-Kingsvile’s Javelina Stadium.

The event gives everyone a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

The Relay for Life starts with a survivors’ lap around the stadium.

The Luminaria Ceremony honors people who have been touched by cancer and remembers loved ones lost to the disease. The Fight Back Ceremony, is a personal commitment by participants to save lives by taking up the fight against cancer.
