Dayton ‘Clint’ Christian Sr. Former Kingsville resident, Dayton “Clint” Christian Sr., 60, died April 6, 2010, in Lafayette, La.

He was born on April 20, 1949, to Kennie and Ailene Tanner Christian.

He worked in the oilfield and had been employed by Weatherford.

Survivors include his three sons, Dwayne Christian of Mobile, Ala., Dayton Christian, Jr., of Alice, Stefan Christian of Alice; daughter, Serena Davis of Alice; two brothers, Homer Christian of Ricardo and Richard “Ben” Christian of Kingsville; sister, Virgie “Sis” Holland of Howell, Miss.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation was held April 9 at the David Funeral Home.
