From the President
The mission of the Bishop Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the residential community of Bishop by assisting businesses develop and thrive as they provide economic and commercial services to the citizens of Bishop and the surrounding area.
The Bishop Chamber of Commerce welcomes the many businesses and industries to our area. We are your voice for issues and actions effecting business and industry. We are working to preserve the free and competitive enterprise system, promoting growth and development and making the Bishop area a better place to live, work, worship, learn and conduct business. I would urge you to support the businesses listed within these pages as they too are supporting our goals to make this area a better place.
Growth, change, research, technology, and many other factors challenge us daily to adjust our lifestyle, confront new opportunities, and meet greater demands. The Chamber is committed to track and effect economic growth, keep pace with the changes of marketing and consumer habits, and assist its members with their needs - providing programs and benefits to enhance their facility, operation, administration and personnel, or general welfare.
The strengths and successes of this organization come from individuals within our membership who volunteer their talents and expertise to rally the forces to meet the challenges. The work and rewards of the Chamber agenda are not limited to the Board of Directors and office staff.
Business representatives, employees and the public can share the goodwill and excitement of the regular and special events sponsored by this Chamber. These events include the Bishop Olde Tyme Faire, the Community Christmas in the Park or annual dinner recognizing individuals who have the served the local community in an exemplary manner.
