RED, WHITE, AND BLUE MOMENT
SPC Adam Carney of Kingsville, who was
on leave from Iraq, presented the Kingsville City Commission April 12 with a U.S. flag
that flew in Iraq as a thank you for the city’s support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

city commission members Charlie Wilson, Stanley Laskowski, Al Garcia, and Arturo
Pecos. Garcia had been in contact with Kingsville soldiers stationed in Iraq. A City
of Kingsville flag was requested to be flown in their compound, bottom photo, as a
show of unity and community support for U.S. troops in Iraq. A City of Kingsville
flag was sent along with T-shirts with the City of Kingsville logo on them, Garcia said.
