Jeana P. LaRue, 78, of Falfurrias, died April 20, 2010, at a local hospital.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1932, to Wilburn Warren Price and Fannie Stella Roach Price in Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include her son, Jerry (Iris) LaRue of Premont; daughters, Joy D. Gibson of Sandia, Linda (Steve) Daily of Premont, and Phyllis (Thornton) Shen of Lott; brothers, Dewayne (Linda) Price of Corpus Christi, and Joe (Byllie Jo) Price of Mount Pleasant; sister, Yvonne (H.L. “Cowboy”) Tyree of Alice, 14 grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held April 21 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias.

A funeral service was celebrated April 22 at the First Baptist Church in Premont.

Burial followed at the Premont Cemetery in Premont.
