Several members of the HM King High School Jazz Band, who recentlyplaced first at the Rio Grande Valley Jazz Festival held in Harlingen Texas, wereselected as All Star Jazz Band members. The All-Star Jazz Band is an honorary groupcomprised of students the judges felt were outstanding performers. Members electedto the group were Frankie Salinas on Bass guitar, Sandra Rodriguez on trumpet, andDanny Castaneda on trombone.
