Relay for Life
A delayed Relay for Life was held Friday and Saturday in Javelina Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M University. It had been delayed two weeks because of rainy weather. The all-night event drew hundreds of participants who had gathered to remember loved one who lost the battle with cancer and to celebrate those who survived. It was also an opportunity to raise funds for cancer research and educational efforts as relay teams, walked, jogged and ran around the Javelina Stadium track. (Photo by Rey Sifuentes Jr.)
