Patsy Ann Bennett Patsy Ann Bennett, 73, of Kingsville, died May 4, 2010, in Kingsville.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1937, in Jennings, La., to Lee J. McFarland and Edna Mae Hebert McFarland.

Bennett was employed as an office manager for JCPenney in Kingsville for 35 years.

She was a member of St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church, Christus Spohn Hospital Auxiliary and Kingsville Woman’s Club.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gerald J. Bennett of Kingsville; son, Robert (Eva) J. Bennett of Kingsville; two daughters, Cindy (Don) McCreary of Corpus Christi, and Cheryl Kirk of Kingsville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation took place May 7 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.

A rosary was recited May 7 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.

A memorial funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. May 8 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Piotr A. Koziel as celebrant.
