Ramon R. Salinas Ramon R. Salinas, 73, died on May 15, 2010 in Kingsville. He was born on July 28, 1936 to Felix and Leonor Salinas in Kingsville. He was a retired truck driver for the City of Kingsville, a deacon for many years at Casa De Oracion Church and a former Kleberg County Volunteer Fireman.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Gloria Salinas of Kingsville; three daughters, Rachel (George) Gonzalez of Denton, Esmeralda (Samuel) Ledesma and Velma Vasquez both of Kingsville; four sons, Lionel (Linda) Salinas of Denton, Ramon (Rose Ann) Salinas Jr. of Frisco, Raymond Lee Salinas and Justo Salinas both of Kingsville; 16 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren, one great great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, May 16.

A religious service was held Monday, May 16 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, May 18 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Pastor Max Paez officiating.

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
