Kleberg County Judge Pete De La Garza reads proclamation saluting children of military families and the work of Naval Air Station Kingsville 4-H program. The Naval Air Station Kingsville Youth Center’s 4-H Club participated in a proclamation reading by Kleberg County Judge Pete De La Garza at the Kleberg County Courthouse last month in honor of Month of the Military Child.

The proclamation recognized military 4-H Clubs, and NAS Kingsville’s Youth Center has one of the most active programs in the state.

The event provided youngsters the opportunity to talk about the impacts of the 4-H Club, in addition to hearing Judge De La Garza read the proclamation and discuss the importance of the Month of the Military Child.
