Lourdes M. Martinez Lourdes M. Martinez, 80, of Kingville, died May 23, 2010.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1930, to Siverino and Flavia Casanova Montes in Camargo, Mexico.

She was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church.

Martinez was retired as a cook from La Siesta Restaurant.

Survivors include her son, Rogelio Martinez of Reynosa, Mexico; daughter, Lilia Martinez of Kingsville; brother, Francisco Montez of Camargo, Mexico, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A rosary was recited May 25 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. May 26 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

Burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
